Munising Bowl

I found this Munising wooden bowl in a dumpster my neighbor had in their driveway, just below my bedroom window. I looked outside and there it was sitting atop piles of papers and wood scraps they were discarding. This had to be cleaned quite a bit due to its use as a clay mold (!) but everything came off easily. I believe this bowl is maple. These bowls were manufactured in Munising, Mich., in the Upper Peninsula, from about 1912 to 1962.
